If you are
anything like us, and you’re planning a trip to a foreign country, most surely
you are already researching for advice in terms of lifestyle. Probably that is,
in the first place, the reason why you are reading this! So Mariana and I have
been swingers for quite a while, we are Mexicans born and bred in the City, and
we know pretty much everything there is to be known about being kinky in our
home country. In fact, we have a blog: Jardin de Adultos, that has been
providing information in Spanish for newbies and experts for quiet while.
So this
post aims to be a guide for you, and hopefully you may find it useful. We will
try to expand it with links as much as possible, but in the meantime, this
should work as an outline with key aspects to the swinging life style in Mexico
City and some other parts of the country. If you don’t find the right answers,
or if there is anything else that pops your mind, don’t hesitate and write to
us. We don’t bite, at least not too hard ;) Our email address is juegodemanos
at yahoo dot com and our profile on SDC is MARIANAYDIEGO.
Let the games begin
Mexico City
Ours is one of the most beautiful sophisticated and complex cities in the world, along the violence and poverty that you may have heard about in the media, we also have a society filled with culture, history and creativity. To understand our city and our mentality is not an easy task, but fortunately, in order to swing, you don´t need to know every inch about our inner world. It will suffice to say that we are a party loving people, warm and welcoming.
As you already know, this is a very large
city. Some of our neighborhoods are very wealthy, others, very picturesque, and
some others, quiet skidrowish. If visiting around, we would always suggest to,
first, Google streetview the area so you
can get an idea of what are you going to face.
Be easy on
food, for most of our diet is not very playroom friendly (if you know what I mean).
Swing Clubs:
There are
ten to fifteen swingers clubs in Mexico City, and if you want to read more
about them, you may follow this link: Guide to Mexican swinging clubs. However,
for foreigners, we would only recommend two of them. First of all, we are sure
that their owners speak good English, which is very helpful when you are in an
unknown territory. Righ? The second reason is that they are the best clubs in
town and there is no reason to be wondering around. Anyway, it’s up to you.
Is located
in the northern part of the city, actually Ciudad Satélite belongs to a
different state though connected to the metropolis, something like New Jersey
to New York. It opens on Fridays and surely has the best service and personal
attention. Libido is a couples only lifestyle club.
Dreams
The second
option is Dreams. This one is open on Saturdays, and is a venue on the south-western
part of the city, in a place called San Pedro de los Pinos. The area may look
somewhat industrial and a bit lonely, but the club is inside a mall. Your taxi
may safely take you there, and you can ask the host to call a cab for you when
you leave. To get an invitation you need to contact the owners through SDC.
Parties:
Many people
organize swinger parties around Mexico City, yet, if you are lucky enough to be
here while a LLV (XCape) party is going to take place, that is your best
possible plan (talking about nighlife). They are often held inside the party
rooms of nice hotels and are the place where fancy swingers get together. Three
or four of these happen throughout the year and if you go, we will definitely meet
you there!
TIP: Aside
from these parties, avoid any others unless you already know the people behind
them. Parties held at home are not dangerous on their own, however, we can’t
vouch for them and the experience may not be worth it.
Meeting couples on line
The most popular network among Mexicans is
SDC. The other one that is gaining an important section of the market is
SwingLiving, anyway you probably are part of the first one, thus know what it
is all about. The thing with the second one is that you need to be recommended by
other members in order to register.
When adding your trip plans on SDC, most
surely you will be receiving several invitations. Remember that we told you
that Mexicans are a warm and welcoming? Well, it is true; we have a thing for
foreigners. Anyway, if nobody knocks on your door, feel free to browse profiles
and invite to whomever you feel that may be cool. Many of us are more than
willing to help out an attractive couple in their swinging discoveries of our
hometown.
An amazing alternative for the weekend
"El Pistache" is a couples only, swinger friendly, clothing optional boutique hotel 90 minutes away from the city. It is a gorgeous place where every detail is taken care of. The hotel is attended by their owners, an incredibly nice couple, who are always aware of their guests needs. There are only 12 rooms, so do not expect Desire like crowds. It is more of a Romantic relaxed get away with high possibility of playing with like-minded people. "El Pistache" is, in general terms, the place where Mexican well cultured and economically stable people go to hang out.
Booking is available through their webpage
Safety advice
Mexico City
is not as dangerous as media makes it look like. Nevertheless is a big city
with major social problems and we don’t want you to be part of the statistics.
(Unless, of course, the statistics of how many orgasms we provide to international
tourism)
- Always ride on secure taxies, you know, the ones you call by phone not the ones you stop at the street. Services as Uber or Cabify can be a very good choice. Anyway, transportation here is very cheap so do not try to save on that. If you can’t manage to get a taxi, people at the front desk of your hotel, as well as host of any club you visit, will always help you with that.
- When contacting with people, do it through a close swinger network (aka SDC or SwingLiving) and be careful when dealing with people you meet through Facebook or Twitter, you never know. Before visiting a new area, especially at night, ask people you trust for references regarding what kind of neighborhood it is and whether it is wise or not for you to go.
- If meeting new people, always do it in public places and close to where your hotel is. The city has certain areas (colonias) that are famous for their coffee shops, restaurants and bars. To make your rendez vous on addresses in Roma, Condesa, Polanco, Coyoacán or Del Valle is a good idea, safe and centric.
- It is very unlikely that you need an id, (given that you do not look like a teenager) so you won’t need, at least most of the times, to carry your passport around. Your driver’s license inside the wallet is more than enough, unless, of course, you need banking services.
- Finally, you already know this, but it is always good to be reminded. Always bring condoms with you!
